Q. Who can
join?
A. Any educational institution that is committed to teaching PTC solutions in a classroom to students as part of a defined curriculum.
Q.
What is included?
A. The University Plus Educational site license includes as many seats of Pro/ENGINEER, and Pro/MECHANICA, (capped at a maximum of 500), for classroom use - everything from sheet metal to behavioural modelling, free professor training and tutorials, and membership in the PTC Education community. For a full list of the software and it’s modules that make up University Plus can be found at the end of this document.
Q. What
training classes and materials are included with the University Plus license?
A. PTC offers training for Professors at all training facilities accross the UK and the classes are at NO cost. Online training courses are also available at NO cost.Professors are invited to attend any Pro/ENGINEER education class - introductory or advanced - for free, at any of PTC's Training Centres. A limited number of class seats are reserved for educators and if available, you may register up to 3 months in advance. Once these seats have been filled, Professors may register up to 14 days before the start date of the class, on a space-available basis. Popular introductory classes include Introduction to Pro/ENGINEER, Fundamentals of Design, Fundamentals of Drawing, Fundamentals of MECHANICA Motion, to name a few.
